Back in the Saddle

What has changed since 2005? Nothing, other than we're all a few years older.

I'm still writing, still trying to get published. I'm lazy with my submissions, though. Not good.

My husband still has migraines and he still does crazy things that make me laugh.

So do my kids, and my niece who lives with us.

Things I learned yesterday:
1) kids go to sleep with their i-pods. They create "sleepytime playlists".
2) J.J. Morgan's serves fresh vegetables, not frozen with their meals. That impressed me. Nothing worse than limp, tasteless veggies.
3) Rosie, my Westie dog, needs a haircut. She brought in a slug on her fur. Gross!

Today is opening day at Beacon Hill Little League. I have to be there early to clean up and then the fun starts at twelve. Hot dogs for the kids and then the Mayor and the government minister in charge of sport will kick things off. I love to see the littlest kids with their shirts that are way too big and the hats that don't fit. Should be cute.
